With the boys being 3 1/2 years apart we didn't need a double stroller, Hudson prefers to walk or ride his scooter so we were on the hunt for a great stroller! We go on walks daily and travel with the stroller so we knew we wanted something sturdy and reliable. Also something big on our "must-have" list is that the handle needs to be nice and tall! Carl is 6'6" and I'm 6' so a big chunk of strollers are just too small. The great thing about Stokke is they want the baby up nice and high to interact with the parents as well, brilliant! So not only is the handle tall (and adjustable if you're short) the baby also sits up nice and high!
We went ahead and got the Pippa Nuna carseat by Stokke as well and to say I'm obsessed would be an understatement! The look of the carseat alone was enough for me to buy it but the quality and the comfort for Riley is so great. You can clip the carseat right on to the stroller base to easily transfer from car to stroller and the color I got, Gray Melange, doesn't get hot in the sun. So many seats for babies and toddlers are made out of a black vinyl type fabric that gets pretty dang hot and sticky in the warm weather, but not this one! We've gotten so many compliments on the design and the linen look of this color, I'd for sure recommend it! Also another great bonus is the infant liner actually works! The others we looked at and our old one have infant inserts that only go behind the back not the full body and didn't add much support, this one does it all! The straps are so easy to adjust, everything fits tightly together and feels extremely sturdy and safe, which is the most important!
Have any of you tried the Stokke strollers? Do you love them as much as we do?!
